Translates Sort orders from Jackson-mapped field names to PersistentProperty names. Properties that cannot be resolved are dropped.

Parameters:

input - must not be null.

rootEntity - must not be null.

Returns:

Sort with translated field names or null if translation dropped all sort fields.
