Method Detail
-
description
public final String description()
A description that you provide for the override.
- Returns:
- A description that you provide for the override.
-
resourceTypes
public final List<ResourceType> resourceTypes()
A comma-separated list that specifies which resource types Config includes in the override.
Daily recording is not supported for the following resource types:
-
AWS::Config::ResourceCompliance -
AWS::Config::ConformancePackCompliance -
AWS::Config::ConfigurationRecorder
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasResourceTypes()method.- Returns:
- A comma-separated list that specifies which resource types Config includes in the override.
Daily recording is not supported for the following resource types:
-
AWS::Config::ResourceCompliance -
AWS::Config::ConformancePackCompliance -
AWS::Config::ConfigurationRecorder
-

-
hasResourceTypes
public final boolean hasResourceTypes()
For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the ResourceTypes property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
-
resourceTypesAsStrings
public final List<String> resourceTypesAsStrings()
A comma-separated list that specifies which resource types Config includes in the override.
Daily recording is not supported for the following resource types:
-
AWS::Config::ResourceCompliance -
AWS::Config::ConformancePackCompliance -
AWS::Config::ConfigurationRecorder
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

AWS::Config::ConfigurationRecorder

-
recordingFrequency
public final RecordingFrequency recordingFrequency()
The recording frequency that will be applied to all the resource types specified in the override.
-
Continuous recording allows you to record configuration changes continuously whenever a change occurs.
-
Daily recording allows you to receive a configuration item (CI) representing the most recent state of your resources over the last 24-hour period, only if it’s different from the previous CI recorded.
Firewall Manager depends on continuous recording to monitor your resources. If you are using Firewall Manager, it is recommended that you set the recording frequency to Continuous.
If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version,
recordingFrequencywill returnRecordingFrequency.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available fromrecordingFrequencyAsString().- Returns:
- The recording frequency that will be applied to all the resource types specified in the override.
-
