Specifies whether to reset all parameters in the DB parameter group to default values. By default, all parameters in the DB parameter group are reset to default values.
- Returns:
- Specifies whether to reset all parameters in the DB parameter group to default values. By default, all parameters in the DB parameter group are reset to default values.
-
hasParameters
public final boolean hasParameters()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Parameters property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified. -
parameters
To reset the entire DB parameter group, specify the
DBParameterGroupname andResetAllParametersparameters. To reset specific parameters, provide a list of the following:ParameterNameandApplyMethod. A maximum of 20 parameters can be modified in a single request.MySQL
Valid Values (for Apply method):
immediate|pending-rebootYou can use the immediate value with dynamic parameters only. You can use the
pending-rebootvalue for both dynamic and static parameters, and changes are applied when DB instance reboots.MariaDB

This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
