Gets the ZooKeeper instance for this server.

CatalogTracker getCatalogTracker()

Returns:

Master's instance of CatalogTracker

getServerName

java.lang.String getServerName()

Gets the unique server name for this server. If a RegionServer, it returns a concatenation of hostname, port and startcode formatted as <hostname> ',' <port> ',' <startcode>. If the master, it returns <hostname> ':' <port>'.

Returns:

unique server name
