public class HttpSessionDestructionContext
extends AbstractBoundContext<HttpSession>

This special http session context is necessary because HttpSessionListeners that are called when a session is being destroyed outside the scope of a HTTP request, need to be able to access the session context. We can't simply activate the regular HttpSessionContext, since we would need an HttpServletRequest to associate and activate the context.

Associate the context with the storage (for this thread). Once BoundContext.associate(Object) has been called, further calls to BoundContext.associate(Object) will be ignored, until the context has been subsequently BoundContext.dissociate(Object) from the storage.

Parameters:

session - the external storage

Returns:

true if the storage was attached, otherwise false
