Class Ec2AutoScalingGroupConfiguration

    • Method Detail

      • instance

        public final InstanceConfiguration instance()

        Details about the instance for the EC2 Auto Scaling group with a single instance type.

        Returns:
        Details about the instance for the EC2 Auto Scaling group with a single instance type.
      • hasMixedInstances

        public final boolean hasMixedInstances()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the MixedInstances property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • mixedInstances

        public final List<MixedInstanceConfiguration> mixedInstances()

        A list of instance types for an EC2 Auto Scaling group with mixed instance types.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasMixedInstances() method.

        Returns:
        A list of instance types for an EC2 Auto Scaling group with mixed instance types.
      • type

        public final Ec2AutoScalingGroupType type()

        The type of EC2 Auto Scaling group, showing whether it consists of a single instance type or mixed instance types.

        If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version, type will return Ec2AutoScalingGroupType.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available from typeAsString().

        Returns:
        The type of EC2 Auto Scaling group, showing whether it consists of a single instance type or mixed instance types.

      • typeAsString

        public final String typeAsString()

      • allocationStrategy

        public final AllocationStrategy allocationStrategy()

        The strategy used for allocating instances, based on a predefined priority order or based on the lowest available price.

        If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version, allocationStrategy will return AllocationStrategy.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available from allocationStrategyAsString().

        Returns:
        The strategy used for allocating instances, based on a predefined priority order or based on the lowest available price.
        See Also:
        AllocationStrategy
      • allocationStrategyAsString

        public final String allocationStrategyAsString()
